This positionis responsible forassistingSales Manager in planning,organizingand controlling the activities of the sales department and in measuring the performance of the employees in the department

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage when Sales Managers are not available.

  • Assistsin forecasting goals andobjectivesfor sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.

  • Assistssalespersons in setting goals andobjectivesand coaches’ employees to achieve goals.

  • Assistsmanagers in recruitment, training development andmonitorsthe performance of the sales staff.

  • Ensures effective communication within the department and interdepartmentally.

  • Creates a customer focused environment and continuously strives to improve the customer satisfaction ratings.

  • Ensures that customer complaints are handled promptly and effectively and works closely with the customer to settle disputes.

  • Greets customers ensuringoptimumcustomer services andassistteam with closing customer deals.

  • Prepare documents, reports etc. asrequired

  • Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a sales role in vehicle retail sales including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • OMVIC certification

  • Validdriverslicense and clean abstract

  • Proficient with the following computer environments: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, InternetExplorerand Outlook.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skillsin order toresolve customer issues.

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.

Earnings Potential: $80,000-$130,000 ( dependent on performance-based commissions and bonuses)
