Job Title Assistant Safety Officer / Registered Safety Officer (E&M Projects)

Location Hong Kong

Salary HKD 18,000 - 45,000 per month

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Safety Officer or Registered Safety Officer for our Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
• Provide safety training and orientation for project personnel.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate safety risks.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on site.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

Qualifications

• For Registered Safety Officers Must be registered with the Labour Department of Hong Kong.
• For Assistant Safety Officers Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in safety management, preferably in E&M or civil works.
• Valid Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID).
• Knowledge of local safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in E&M works for buildings and civil projects.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and safety audit processes.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
