🔎 About the Role

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence. You will play a vital role in the pre-opening phase and long-term success of the resort, taking full charge of the outlet in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance financial objectives with high-quality service standards.

🌟 What You’ll Do

  • Supervise daily Restaurant service to ensure compliance with RIU quality standards and HACCP hygiene regulations.

  • Directly oversee the floor during meal periods, greeting guests and resolving feedback on the spot.

  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure all staff complete duties and grooming standards.

  • Orient, train, and motivate the service team to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.

  • Manage staff schedules, attendance for payroll, and conduct constant performance evaluations.

  • Foster a safe work environment, ensuring employees are consulted on health and safety issues.

  • Assist in coordinating periodic operational audits and guest satisfaction surveys in line with RIU’s standards, ensuring proper documentation, staff cooperation, and timely follow-up on feedback.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a 4 or 5-star property.

  • Skills: Strong operational oversight with the ability to manage multicultural teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and a "guest-first" mindset.

  • Education/Certifications: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management. HACCP Certification is highly preferred.

  • Communication: Strong command of English and Thai (spoken and written) is a must.
