The Wofoo Joseph Lee Consulting and Counselling Psychology Research Centre is seeking an Assistant Research Officer / Research Officer to provide research and administrative support, with a primary focus on coordination and liaison work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the Centre’s programmes and projects, including planning and running training classes, workshops, seminars, and related activities

• Liaise with companies, schools, universities, and partner institutions

• Assist in literature search and review

• Conduct data collection and analysis

• Assist in the preparation of reports and manuscripts

• Occasional travel outside Hong Kong may be required

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Centre Director

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in psychology or a related discipline; candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for appointment at the Research Officer rank

• Experience in project management or programme coordination

• Knowledge of counselling psychology, positive psychology, or wellbeing interventions is an advantage

• Knowledge of and experience in using SPSS; familiarity with other statistical software such as R or Python is an advantage

• Strong sense of responsibility and effective communication skills

• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluency in both Cantonese and Putonghua

Salary and Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of 12 to 24 months, subject to operational and project needs.
