Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Research Officer in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.:537120), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess (i) a Ph.D. degree in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines with at least 5 years’ of relevant experience in clinical trial studies, with preferable HK registered Chinese medicine practitioners (RCMPs); (ii) proven capacity in research, with a good track record of high-quality publications in the field of Chinese Medicine; and (iii) demonstrated experience in ethics application, study design, and protocol preparation. Applicants with experience in conducting clinical trials or in implementation of community research projects would have an advantage. Applicants should be able to work effectively both independently and in collaboration across teams to advance research initiatives. They should also be meticulous and have demonstrated ability to manage a research team to achieve project objectives.
The appointees will be responsible for co-ordinating clinical trial studies for all Principal Investigators in the School. He/She is expected to perform other duties as assigned.
