Job Description

Create your best future and join Westpac as an Assistant Relationship Manager.

What’s the role?

Solid relationships sit at the heart of every commercial banking decision we make, and in this role you’ll help keep those connections strong. Based in Naracoorte, South Australia, you’ll work closely with Relationship Managers across our Regional Agribusiness portfolios, supporting customers who are growing businesses and communities across the region.

You’ll play a key part in shaping quality banking outcomes, supporting credit submissions, deal structuring and financial analysis that genuinely make a difference. You’ll dig into cash flow, financial statements and risk analysis, helping identify opportunities and flag potential risks early. Just as importantly, you’ll help maintain healthy portfolios while building trusted relationships with both customers and colleagues. This role is a great step for someone who wants to deepen their commercial banking capability and grow into a senior regional or agribusiness banking career.

This is a full-time role based in Naracoorte, South Australia, with varying agricultural enterprises, a strong community and only 100km from beautiful beaches at Beachport, Robe, and Kingston.

What do I need?

• Strong financial analysis skills including cash flow, risk and financial statement analysis

• Exposure to Regional Commercial Banking or Agribusiness environments

• Experience supporting credit submissions and structured lending requests

• Confidence working closely with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders

• An accounting background with CPA or CA certification, or working towards it
