Assistant Regional Operations Manager

Based in Ipswich

£44,923 - £47,287 per year (plus Company car)

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Regional Operations Manager to join our dedicated Voids team based in Ipswich. This team plays a key role in supporting the delivery of void properties and the role reports into the Regional Operations Manager (ROM), working closely with Service Delivery Managers (SDMs), admin team, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

The role of Assistant Regional Operations Manager will include:

  • Ensuring homes are returned to a safe, compliant, and lettable standard

Monitoring Void turnaround time and cost targets

  • Managing service quality and acting as an escalation point for complex or highrisk voids
  • Supporting delivery of regional void performance targets
  • Monitoring regional void performance, identifying risks and delays
  • Supporting and challenging SDMs to deliver voids to time, cost, quality, and compliance standards
  • Working with contractors and internal teams to unblock issues and improve delivery
  • Carrying out site visits to assure quality, safety, and compliance

Skills and experiences:

  • To ensure full compliance with CDM 2015 legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC in Construction or Management and NEBOSH National Diploma – Construction. Or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • Experience of managing multi-site maintenance contracts in a commercially focussed role
  • Experience of operating within a performance focussed environment, delivering key performance indicators
  • Proven track record managing a direct labour operation or internal maintenance service
  • Demonstrate achievement in supporting the successful delivery of projects
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
