Rixos Phu Quoc is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Recruitment Manager to join our Talent & Culture team. Reporting directly to the Recruitment Manager, this role will support the execution of the resort’s recruitment strategy and play an active role in the full end-to-end recruitment process to attract, select, and onboard top talent across all departments.
The Assistant Recruitment Manager will be responsible for supporting workforce planning and coordinating hiring needs in collaboration with department heads. From job posting and sourcing to screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination, this role will be fully involved throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. The successful candidate will help ensure a seamless, professional, and brand-aligned candidate experience at every stage.
Key responsibilities include drafting and posting job advertisements, proactively sourcing candidates through multiple channels, screening applications, conducting initial interviews, coordinating assessment processes, managing interview schedules, and supporting hiring managers in making informed selection decisions. The Assistant Recruitment Manager will also assist in preparing employment offers, conducting reference checks, and ensuring all recruitment documentation is compliant with company policies and local labour regulations.
In addition, this role will contribute to employer branding initiatives, career fairs, university partnerships, and talent pipeline development to support both mass hiring and specialised recruitment needs. The Assistant Recruitment Manager will track recruitment metrics, maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system, and support reporting to ensure data-driven hiring decisions.
The position also involves close collaboration with the People & Culture team to ensure smooth onboarding processes and a positive first impression for new colleagues joining Rixos Phu Quoc.
The ideal candidate holds a minimum of one year of experience in a similar recruitment or talent acquisition role with prior working experience in Vietnam considered essential. Experience within hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resort environments will be highly advantageous.
Fluency in both English and Vietnamese (spoken and written) is required to effectively manage communication with candidates and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to sourcing and stakeholder management.
