Job Description

[What the role is]

1. Develop, support and implement initiatives to communicate, educate and engage relevant stakeholders on antimicrobial resistance and appropriate antimicrobial use.
2. Support the coordination of One Health efforts to implement and monitor Singapore’s National Strategic Action Plan on AMR across the human, animal, food and environment sectors.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

[What you will be working on]

Communication

  • Work closely with CDA’s Corporate Communications Division to develop and draft content for corporate messaging on AMR, including corporate social media posts, annual reports, corporate web pages and other relevant platforms
  • Support the development of a One Health Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Plan on AMR

Education

  • Support the development and implementation public and professional educational initiatives to increase awareness of AMR and appropriate use of antimicrobials
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support for annual webinars for healthcare professionals hosted or conducted by AMRCO
  • Design/develop and manage collaterals and educational materials to support AMR education efforts

Engagement

  • Actively engage local stakeholders, present and potential partners to collaborate on efforts to combat AMR
  • Support the development and roll out of community and professional engagement initiatives

Secretariat

  • Be part of a Secretariat team supporting a multi-agency workgroup that oversees the implementation and monitoring of Singapore’s National Strategic Action Plan on AMR
  • Provide secretariat support for meeting arrangements and post-meeting follow-up actions
  • Support international benchmarking of Singapore’s national action plan implementation

Ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on priority AMR issues as they arise
  • Undertake administrative tasks as needed to support divisional operations, e.g. procurement/finance duties, records management, note taking.

The candidate should have interest and some experience in:

  • Stakeholder engagement and working with diverse partners
  • Developing content for public health messaging and communications
  • Developing educational content for public and professionals

The candidate should:

  • Possess tertiary qualification in science, social science, public health or other relevant disciplines
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy working with people and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate creativity and proactiveness
  • Exhibit the ability to plan, think and work independently
