Our Conservation Programs team is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to support the delivery of environmental and coastal management projects that help protect and enhance NSW's natural assets.
Working within the Stockton Beach Repair project team, you will contribute to meaningful projects that support the sustainable management of the environment while delivering positive outcomes for communities across New South Wales.
In this role, you will provide project and operational support to assist with the development and delivery of key programs and projects. Responsibilities include monitoring project milestones and deliverables, undertaking research and analysis, preparing briefs, reports and project documentation, coordinating meetings, undertake community engagement activities and providing administrative and secretariat support. You will work closely with project team members and stakeholders to support informed decision-making and ensure project objectives are delivered within agreed timeframes, quality standards and project methodologies.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated project professional to develop their project management experience in a coastal management setting while working on projects that contribute to the protection and restoration of important environmental and community assets.
