We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support construction delivery at DFW International Airport

This role works closely with the Project Manager and plays a key part in coordination, documentation, and execution support across both field and office functions. Success in this role requires more than administrative support you must understand how construction projects operate in real time and help ensure work is planned, approved, and executed within schedule constraints.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of construction activities on-site
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders:
    • Project Manager
    • Superintendent
    • QA/QC teams
    • Subcontractors
  • Track and manage:
    • Submittals
    • RFIs
    • Change events
    • Project documentation
  • Assist with project scheduling and sequencing of work
  • Review construction drawings and ensure alignment with field execution
  • Support permitting and approval processes
  • Identify risks or issues early and escalate before impacting schedule

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction project environments
  • Experience supporting:
    • Project Managers and/or Superintendents
    • Documentation and coordination workflows
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in airport, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects
  • Exposure to live operational or restricted-access environments
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management platfor


Salary Description
$85,000-$115,000
