Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Salary: From £36,400 based on skills and experience
About the role:
Working with the Project Manager & Senior Project Manager, you will assist in the safe and efficient delivery of strategic capital maintenance projects within Hampshire.
You will be working with external delivery partners, the internal project management team, and other key stakeholders at various levels to deliver a key part of Southern Water’s investment plan, providing asset resilience and securing customers supply whilst helping ensure the project is delivered to time, cost and quality.
What you will be responsible for:
You will get exposure to high value capital maintenance projects with budgets in excess of £100m, providing a challenging but rewarding opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to help us deliver the best value to our customers and maintaining our commitment to improving the environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
This role will make use of your proven track record of excellent organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively, ideally whilst working within Water, Utilities or Engineering industries.
Ideally you will have a foundation qualification in Project Management (e.g. APM Project Management Fundamentals) or are working towards it, but this is an area we can support you with so isn’t essential.
