Position Title: Assistant Project Manager – Mill Creek
Job Classification: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 – 5 pm
Reporting Relationship: Vice President – Mill Creek
Location: Onsite/Hybrid
The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager with the planning, scheduling and coordinating of all phases of a project. This includes subcontractor relations, cost accounting and billing procedures, procurement, and liaison with owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. Must be well versed using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Access) and scheduling software (Primavera and/or MS Project). Experience with Federal contracting is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
•Collaboration with appropriate team members,
• Effectively facilitates team and client meetings
• Proactively communicates regular status with the Project Team
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to Project Manager and other key players
• Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures
• Manages daily operational aspects of a project, scope and client interaction
• Track and report on project milestones, deliverables, resource parameters, and budget
• Serve as the point for system changes, enhancements subsequent to project implementation, and ensure changes are tracked
• Identifies necessary resources to complete projects and communicates with
• Capable of managing several projects at one time
• Follows up with clients on a daily/weekly basis until problem is resolved
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architectural or related field preferred
· Demonstrated experience in estimating and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work
· Must possess knowledge of standard commercial construction practices.
· Experienced with Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software.
· Ability to read plans.
· Minimum 2 years construction work experience and be able to travel to job sites as needed.
· Must be able to pass a federal background check and be a US citizen.
