About the Role
As an Assistant Project Manager at Babcock, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the JP9101 (Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System) program.
You will be responsible for leading and delivering key project milestones within your assigned portfolio, with a strong focus on planning, cost, and schedule management.
Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will help develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure scope, performance, and quality objectives are consistently achieved.
You will assist in maintaining project management baselines, contribute to risk and schedule analysis, and support reporting cycles by preparing high-quality reports and packs for both the customer and senior stakeholders.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented project professional with a solid foundation in project management principles.
You bring experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Your strong analytical skills enable you to support risk management activities, interpret project data, and contribute to informed decision-making across the program.
A confident communicator, you are comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders and contributing to collaborative team environments.
