Job Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Family Medicine is seeking full-time faculty members at the rank of assistant professor. Clinical responsibilities include seeing patients in our UChicago Medicine Cottage Grove primary care clinic, as well as opportunities with other clinical programs. Educational responsibilities will include teaching students from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and residents from the University of Chicago Family Medicine residency program. Scholarly activity can be either self-identified or aligned with established departmental interests and priorities. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be board-certified or eligible in Family Medicine.
