The Department of Radiation Oncology at URMC is a leader in clinical care, research, and education, operating eight treatment sites and treating approximately 3,000 new radiation cases annually. The department maintains a robust research portfolio spanning basic, translational, and clinical science, supported by state-of-the-art core facilities, strong institutional infrastructure, and integration with the Wilmot Cancer Institute
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is currently seeking multiple outstanding MD (or Equivalent) Radiation Oncologists for full‑time faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. These positions are for full-time, non-tenure accruing positions. The positions are primarily focused on clinical care and clinical trial enrollment, with opportunities to participate in education, quality improvement, collaborative clinical research, and/or leadership within the Wilmot Cancer Institute or Department of Radiation Oncology as appropriate.
The successful candidate will join a collegial, multidisciplinary environment that values compassionate patient care, clinical excellence, and innovation. Faculty members provide care across URMC’s network of eight radiation oncology sites, supported by advanced technology, strong physics and dosimetry teams, and disease‑site–specific tumor boards. The successful candidate will be expected to develop disease site expertise and contribute to clinical trial enrollment.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
