The University of Louisville Department of Medicine Division of General Internal Medicine and Medical Education has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time internist wishing to serve as an Academic hospitalist and provide additional outpatient services. The duties will include providing annual coverage and participating in hospitalist ward attending duties along with some outpatient coverage at an academic medical center. The candidate will be assigned internal medicine specialty care for our patients while they are on the inpatient service and may be supervising and training medical residents and working directly with subspecialty providers on a daily basis. May be expected to participate in quality assurance programs administered by the hospital and may also be expected to attend divisional and departmental meetings and presentations as a member of the Department of Medicine faculty. The position will be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor Term.
