
Yale University's Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in Soviet and/or post-Soviet culture, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. The successful candidate would teach graduate and undergraduate courses on Soviet and/or post-Soviet culture and contribute service to the department and university.
The area of specialization is fully open.
Near-native knowledge of Russian is required, with proficiency in other relevant languages considered a plus. Candidates need a PhD or equivalent in Slavic, Comparative Literature, or a related field by the time of hire.
