Job Summary

We seek a colleague who would bring established competency in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level and is interested in collaboration with university colleagues on curriculum development, scholarship, and civic and community engagement. Teaching responsibilities for this full-time, tenure-track position include graduate and undergraduate courses in hybrid/in-person format. This position will advise students, engage in scholarly work, and provide service to the School and the University.

A January start is preferred, with an August start possible.

Authority and Accountability

This position reports to the Director of the School of Social Work.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited social work program (or international equivalent)
  • Two or more years post-MSW social work practice experience
  • Doctoral degree in Social Work or a related field prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teaching experience
  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Scholarly interest in rural healthcare, behavioral health, and/or research methods

The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.
