Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine seeks an outstanding candidate for a full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor focusing on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). Consultative gynecologic hospital care and gynecology call coverage is shared among members of the division; inpatient obstetric coverage is not included. The current clinical coverage areas are Bridgeport and New Haven, CT.

Qualifications

The candidate must have demonstrated excellence in the delivery of patient-centered, equitable, comprehensive clinical care and possess excellent complex surgery skills in particular minimally invasice surgery. The applicant is required to be Board certified/eligible in general obstetrics and gynecology. The successful applicant will have a commitment to and aptitude for teaching medical students, residents and fellows in both obstetrics and gynecology. Minimally invasive surgery fellowship is not a prerequisite but would be welcome. The applicant should be able to provide comprehensive ambulatory obstetrics and gynecology care.
