Job Description

The UVA Health Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation seeks a full-time physiatrist to see patients in the new Comprehensive EDS and Hypermobility Disorders Center. The candidate will have experience managing patients with EDS and other hypermobility disorders including directing comprehensive multidisciplinary rehabilitative management. Proficiency in landmark and ultrasound guided injection procedures of joints and soft tissues is required.

This is a tenure-ineligible Assistant Professor position on the Clinical Faculty track.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a MD or DO and be board-certifed or board-eligible by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The incumbent must be committed to a career in academic medicine and interested in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research.

The selected candidate will undergo a background check and pre-employment health/drug screening.
