The School of Nursing at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will contribute to the academic excellence, scholarly productivity, and service mission of the School of Nursing and the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). Responsibilities include teaching across undergraduate and/or graduate programs; advising and mentoring students; and developing a robust program of research and scholarship that advances nursing science, healthcare delivery, health systems, education, policy, or related interdisciplinary fields.
The faculty member is expected to design and conduct original research, secure external funding, disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex health challenges. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed curricula that prepare graduates for diverse professional roles in an evolving healthcare landscape.

The School of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare nurses and nurse leaders to meet the health needs of diverse populations. Programs emphasize evidence-based practice, innovation, ethical leadership, and population health.
The School of Nursing maintains strong partnerships with healthcare systems and community agencies across New Hampshire and the broader New England region, providing rich opportunities for clinical collaboration, research engagement, and translational impact. Faculty pursue scholarship in areas such as aging and chronic illness, community and population health, health systems innovation, health policy, workforce development, and technology integration in healthcare.
The School of Nursing fosters a collegial and supportive faculty environment that values mentorship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of externally funded research programs. Junior faculty are supported through mentoring and research development opportunities, and senior faculty play an active role in advancing collaborative scholarship and professional leadership.
Responsibilities include teaching, research, and service. Teaching may occur in undergraduate and/or graduate programs and may be delivered on campus and/or online. A beginning or active research agenda consistent with requested rank is required and supported. Faculty are also expected to participate in service activities that advance the School of Nursing, the college, the university, the profession, and the broader community.

Compensation Pay Range:
$100,000-$120,000
The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon the candidate’s qualifications.
