George L. Argyros College of Business and Economics at Chapman University in Orange, California invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Management Science beginning August 1, 2027.
The position provides a competitive salary and ample support for teaching and research including a reduced teaching load, a summer research stipend, and a discretionary research budget.

We invite applicants with academic training in Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Industrial and Systems Engineering, the Economics of Digitization, or related fields. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research interests relate to AI and healthcare, though highly qualified candidates with other areas of research are still encouraged to apply. This position is open to either advanced junior professors or PhD candidates who will have their PhDs conferred before the start date.

Evaluation of applicants will begin upon receipt of applications and will continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled. The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is contingent on final budget approval. Successful completion of a background check is required for the final candidate.
