
The Department of Languages and Literatures at Oklahoma State University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of German. Specialization is open. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda, this person will be expected to teach a wide range of undergraduate classes, including elementary and intermediate language, advanced language, culture, literature, and fourth-year seminars on selected topics. Ability to teach phonetics is desirable. The successful candidate should be willing to teach from a multicultural perspective and be willing to mentor ethnically and racially underrepresented students. Ph. D. in hand by the time of appointment in August 2021.
