As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University Plymouth seeks a Full-Time Non-Tenure Track Faculty Member in English to promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by delivering high-quality instruction in English courses, fostering critical thinking and communication skills, and contributing to a collaborative academic environment.
This position supports student learning and academic excellence at the Plymouth, Indiana location through effective teaching and engagement. The faculty member reports to the Academic Dean at Marian University – Plymouth for day-to-day operations and collaborates with faculty at Marian University – Indianapolis for curricular development and discipline collaboration. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage diverse student populations while representing Marian University in a professional and mission-centered manner.

To be qualified for this position , the candidate must have an English or equivalent graduate degree, as well as 3-5 years of experience at teaching/instruction at the college level. Preference will be given to those with PhD and/or with additional certifications/ endorsements in writing/English Education.
