
Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice, Cardiovascular Medicine-(2602922)
The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health), Galveston, Texas, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing academic program at the title of Assistant or Associate Professor. The position is available in the coming 6-12 months.
The successful candidate will participate in an academic rapidly expanding practice that provides both inpatient and outpatient care, with expertise in coronary interventions and either endovascular or structural heart interventions. The practice is supported by the excellent infrastructure of UTMB Health, including a robust multidisciplinary team and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities. This position offers opportunities to teach and mentor trainees (including the 3 fellows in our accredited interventional cardiology fellowship), conduct research, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives while caring for a diverse patient population.
