Job Title: Assistant Professor of Clinical, Neurosurgery

The UR Medicine Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting a dedicated and skilled Neurosurgeon with a principal focus on delivering exceptional neurosurgical care at Arnot Ogden Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital, with clinic services provided at the UR Neurosurgery clinic at Big Flats, NY. The successful candidate will maintain a full clinical schedule, providing comprehensive services across multiple care settings, including outpatient offices and operating rooms at both locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality neurosurgical care to local and regional patients across Arnot Ogden Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital.
• Provide clinical services in outpatient and surgical settings.
• Collaborate with regional physicians and hospitals to improve access to neurosurgical care and ensure treatment in the most appropriate setting.
• Contribute to the education of residents, medical students, and fellow physicians through clinical instruction and mentorship.
• Participate in and support neurosurgical research initiatives.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
