The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Biophysical Chemistry/Electron Transfer Biochemistry with a starting date of August 16, 2026, and teaching one course per semester. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry encourages applications from all interested and qualified parties. Our mission statement and other information can be found at chem.ou.edu.
The criteria for consideration will directly correlate with involvement in biological electron transfer research that has a significant impact on the global carbon cycle, alternative energy, and biomedicine.
