Job Description

FACULTY RECRUITING IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING—THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN. The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering seeks outstanding applicants for a senior faculty position at the level of Professor, although outstanding applicants for junior faculty positions will also be considered. Applicants at the level of Professor must have an exemplary record of sponsored research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and service. The areas of focus are design and manufacture of materials for energy and biological engineering for therapy, diagnostics, and renewable chemistries.

Qualifications

Applications from women and minorities are especially encouraged. A successful candidate is expected to teach chemical engineering undergraduate and graduate courses, direct an internationally recognized sponsored research program, collaborate with other faculty, and participate actively in service to the university and the profession. A Ph.D. in chemical engineering or related field is required.
