The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch seeks board-certified physician at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to join a growing Division of Hematology/Oncology serving Southeast Texas through UTMB's multi-campus health system.
Faculty members will provide comprehensive adult hematology and oncology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings including participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and support infusion and inpatient oncology services. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, participation in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives, and development of scholarly activities aligned with personal interests and the division’s strategic priorities. COMPENSATION AND SUPPORT
Compensation follows the Department of Internal Medicine Faculty Compensation Plan and is benchmarked to AAMC Faculty Salary Survey data aligned by academic rank and geographic region. Total compensation includes base salary with potential for clinical productivity incentives (for outpatient-based faculty), academic achievement bonuses, or research support depending on appointment track.
