
The position focuses primarily on advancing knowledge in the field of early psychosis. Specific duties include:
Assisting with leadership of two large NIMH-funded multi-center studies for youth at CHR; including developing experience with oversight of: site management, recruitment and retention, data quality, fiscal resources, and NIMH reporting; Establishing an independent research focus in early psychosis; Securing independent funding for research in early psychosis; Prescribing study medication for youth at CHR participating in clinical trials; Prescribing clinical medication for PRIME Clinic patients
Other clinical responsibilities as interested; Teaching responsibilities as invited or as interested
Applicants must have demonstrated academic productivity, hold the degree of Medical Doctor and have completed a psychiatry residency. In addition, applicants must be license eligible in the State of Connecticut to practice medicine, be a US citizen, or permanent resident, or holder of visa permitting employment.
