Job Description

The University of Chicago Department of Statistics invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The search is open to any area in the field of Statistics, broadly defined.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Completion of all requirements for the PhD in statistics or some field of computer science, mathematics, or other areas where statistical concepts or methods play an important role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least one year of university-level teaching experience, such as, but not limited to, a TA or instructor of record;
  • At least two years of experience as a postdoctoral researcher.
