The Department of Information Systems in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank starting Fall 2027.
Essential Functions: The candidate must contribute to the Department of Information Systems’ mission in the areas of research, teaching and service, and must be able and willing to teach AI in business, business analytics and information systems courses to both undergraduate and graduate students.
1) A PhD in business administration, information systems, or a closely related field; ABD candidates must successfully defend their dissertation by July 1, 2027; 2) Evidence of potential for excellence in research publications at top-tier journals and a promising agenda.
1) A strong research agenda as evidenced by papers published or forthcoming in premier academic journals; 2) Demonstrated knowledge of artificial intelligence through innovative teaching practices, cutting-edge research, and/or thought leadership in academic or professional communities; 3) Demonstrated evidence of teaching potential for excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels; 4) Industry partnerships or sponsored research collaborations.
