Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching Responsibilities
• Teach core BCA subjects: Programming, DBMS, Web Tech, OS, Networks, Cybersecurity, AI, ML, etc.
• Use ICT tools and blended learning with OBE and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
• Prepare lesson plans, course files, and conduct practical sessions.
• Reports to HoD/Dean and follows all academic and quality standards.
2. Assessment & Evaluation
• Design internal tests, quizzes, projects, and lab evaluations.
• Ensure CO-PO-PSO mapping, attainment calculation, and timely result submission.
3. Curriculum Development
• Participate in BoS and syllabus updates.
• Propose modern electives: Blockchain, Data Science, DevOps, etc.
• Align curriculum with NEP 2020 and industry needs.
4. Research & Publications
• Publish in UGC-CARE/Scopus/SCI journals.
• Guide student projects; apply for grants and consultancies.
• Encourage innovation and student research activities.
5. Accreditation & Quality Assurance
• Maintain documentation for NAAC/NBA (course files, CO-PO mapping).
• Support IQAC and data preparation for AQAR/SSR/SAR.
6. Mentoring & Student Engagement
• Academic and career mentoring.
• Promote certifications, hackathons, internships, and industry readiness.
• Address slow and advanced learners individually.
7. Institutional Involvement
• Participate in university committees and academic events.
• Organize seminars, FDPs, industrial visits, and placement coordination.
8. Professional Development
• Attend FDPs, workshops, and complete MOOCs (NPTEL, SWAYAM, etc.).
• Stay updated with tools, platforms, and pedagogical practices.
