The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-ineligible Assistant Professor position on the Clinical Faculty track. This primary outatient position will focus on general muscoskeletal and sports patients in the acute. subacute, and chronic phases of care. The candidate will also provide night and weekend call coverage in the UVA Encompass Health Joint Venture Rehabilitation Hospital (UVA-EH), on a rotational basis.
This position will remain open until filled. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment. A completed pre-employment health and drug screening is required for this position.

A MD or DO is required, as is board-certification or board-eligibility by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The incumbent must be committed to a career in academic medicine and interested in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research.
