The Department of Music in the College of Liberal Arts at The University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor (Orchestra Director).

Located in the College of Liberal Arts, the Department of Music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music and enrolls over 360 music majors. Our 65 faculty members contribute to a robust, creative, and scholarly environment. The Department offers Bachelor of Music degrees in Performance, Music Education, Music Business, Music Audio Production, Theory, Composition, and Jazz Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry Studies. Graduate offerings include the Master of Music in Music Education and a Graduate Certificate in Performance. The Department provides a collaborative environment with opportunities for creative and interdisciplinary work across the University.
