This position is based in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The incumbent’s clinical role will be as a primary care physician in the Family Medical Clinic at the Northeast Regional Campus, Jonesboro. The faculty member’s clinical time will include private clinic, inpatient rounding, precepting residents and medical students, and clinical administration, including patient follow-up and clinical documentation. Teaching residents/medical students is an important part of faculty members’ roles. The incumbent will be expected to participate in the teaching of residents and students in the clinic, the hospital ward, and the classroom as called upon. The faculty member will be expected to participate in departmental activities, such as conferences, meetings, and educational activities and also contribute to quality improvement projects with other members of the faculty. Time and effort allocations will be determined annually or as assignments change.
