About the position:

This Full-time position will report to the Production Manager and will work closely with the Design Team across categories, from concept to bulk production. The priority is to ensure our collections are delivered on time, to budget whilst ensuring we maintain quality. We are seeking a candidate who has a strong administration and production background who is looking to bring and develop their skills in a helpful and collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the production team to consistently meet and exceed internal production schedules and output efficiencies
• Develop, review and implement production processes, systems and quality control protocols in alignment with the businesses policies
• Product development and sourcing or manufactures both local and international
• Monitor and manage production costs by remaining within allocated budgets
• Provide SMV for bulk production
• Analyse and report on supplier performance across key performance indicators, such as margin, quality, service and on-time benchmarks
• Review, develop and expand on production workflows to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, and minimise costs
• Liaise and work with senior management across the business in relation to the production function of the business
• Perform other duties as directed by Management

What are we seeking?

• At least 10 years of proven experience in the manufacturing of apparel industry
• Formal qualifications in business management, production management desirable but not mandatory
• Experience in high-end fashion and knitwear is highly desirable
• Strong ability to prioritise, multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Extensive experience with high end European Fabrics, Premium labels and couture garment construction techniques
• Strong knowledge of technical specifications, pattern constructions, design, technology and the production process
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency across the MS Office suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary offer: between $70,000 to $80,000 based on qualifications, experience and skills.
