This role involves receiving, pricing, and merchandising fresh fruits and vegetables while maintaining high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation. The Assistant Produce Manager helps manage inventory, coordinates shrink, and ensures compliance with food safety handling standards. They supervise and train produce staff and assign daily tasks. Additionally, they address customer inquiries, build attractive displays, and assist in maintaining accurate sales and inventory records. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
