In this role, you'll:


Support procurement planning, sourcing and tender activities to deliver value-for-money outcomes while ensuring compliance with government procurement requirements.

Prepare procurement documentation, maintain records and provide practical advice to support effective procurement practices. Gain exposure to construction-related projects and build strong relationships with stakeholders across Transport.

Contribute to procurement operations, contract administration and sourcing activities within a collaborative team environment, helping deliver efficient procurement outcomes that support business and project objectives.

This Sydney Metro-based role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with access to offices in Sydney CBD, Parramatta, Burwood and Macquarie Park.

Note: This role is a temporary fixed term contract until June 2027.

About you


Experience in procurement or a related field such as commercial, finance, legal or contract administration, coupled with a genuine interest in delivering effective procurement outcomes. Experience in government procurement, procurement operations, purchase orders, contract administration or the construction sector will be highly regarded.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships, collaborate across teams and manage competing priorities. Well-developed analytical skills and a practical approach to supporting procurement processes and providing advice in a fast-paced environment.

A highly organised, customer-focused and proactive approach, with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes while maintaining compliance and governance requirements. Experience using procurement systems such as Ariba will be advantageous, but is not essential.
