As an Assistant Procurement Manager at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to support sustainability projects and sourcing activities for packaging used by Nestlé worldwide. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with procurement managers, suppliers and stakeholders across categories. How you’ll make an impact as an Assistant Procurement Manager – Packaging

  • Tracking sustainability project progress and milestones with suppliers to support measurable environmental and financial outcomes.
  • Supporting the execution of sustainability strategies that help reduce emissions, protect forests and advance responsible sourcing.
  • Driving capability building across packaging teams to strengthen knowledge on decarbonization, deforestation and virgin plastic reduction.
  • Delivering supplier insights and information that enable better decisions on environmental and sustainable sourcing topics.
  • Contributing to packaging sustainability training materials that help teams turn ambition into practical action.
  • Building procurement category management capabilities while supporting sourcing activities, project delivery and data-driven decisions.

What will make you successful

  • Bringing procurement, supply chain, logistics, business or engineering knowledge to support sustainable packaging priorities.
  • Applying sustainability and direct materials understanding to connect supplier actions with business and environmental goals.
  • Using data, reporting tools and presentation skills to track progress, forecast outcomes and communicate clear recommendations.
  • Collaborating confidently with suppliers and internal stakeholders in a complex, international environment.
  • Communicating fluently in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.
