Role: Assistant Paraplanner
Location: Bury
Salary: £26-32k (depending on experience)
Hours: 8.45am – 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Our client is a prestigious financial services practice looking for an Assistant Paraplanner to join their expanding team in Bury. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within financial services. You will have the opportunity to be put through your RO exams and given study time.
This role would be well suited to someone with exposure within Financial Services, Financial Planning or an IFA administrator looking to take the next step in their career.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, as a trainee Paraplanner your role will include:
o Completing the Client Files fully and correctly on the software system
o Ensuring all hard facts and personal details are provided
o Recording details correctly
o Generating and completing Comparison Reports and Illustrations
o Ensure you refer to the Advice Process and End to End processes when evaluating the appropriateness of a recommendations
o Identify all areas of planning
o Understand the risk profile of the client
o Drafting Suitability Letters though the Paraplanner will do most of these
o Fully and accurately complete application/proposal forms
o Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order and completed correctly
o Being the main point of contact you will deal with queries from clients and other parties
o Establish and build strong relationships with clients
o Send planning figures to clients for update and revision
