
Under the supervision of the High School Athletic Director, the Assistant Outdoor Track and Field Coach will instruct student athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. This position will also instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to strong character development, self discipline, self confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes. Prepare game and practice plans, and occasionally lead early practices and act as adult supervision for bus transportation to and from away games.
Demonstrated ability to foster meaningful relationships with adolescents, strong leadership skills and dynamic presence.
High school or college Track and Field participation and/or coaching experience is preferred.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR required. District will provide training.
