You will serve as an attending physician and provide care for critically ill children on the Critical Care service at Children's Hospital Colorado. Candidates will be expected to serve as attending physician and to work on teams with learners and advanced practice providers, as well as work in an independent manner on teams without learners or advanced practice providers. Clinical service will be shifts that consist of both days and in-house nights and include a mix of these types of teams as determined by the medical director for the needs of the unit. Candidates will be expected to supervise and educate residents and fellows, students, and advanced practice providers. They will be expected to participate in quality improvement and hospital or department committees. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to departmental and institutional missions.
Clinical Service Responsibilities
·Provide high quality, evidence-based critical care to children in the PICU
·Ensure responsive, high-quality and consistent service to all customers of the CHCO PICU including patients, families and referring providers
·Maintain acceptable performance under the Section’s Ongoing Professional Evaluation matrix
Administrative Responsibilities
·Participating in appropriate committees within the Section of Critical Care and CHCO
·Support Section and hospital efforts in quality improvement and education.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range ( or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
·Assistant Professor: $234,500 to $277,400
·Associate Professor: $285,900 to $342,200
The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
