The position is intended for a candidate who is board certified/eligible in gastroenterology.
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is actively seeking a full-time faculty gastroenterologist to support Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital (VWCH) in Lebanon, TN. In addition to clinic and endoscopy coverage primarily at VWCH, some coverage at the main campus of Vanderbilt University Medical Center located in Nashville, TN is expected. The position is intended for a candidate who is board certified/eligible in gastroenterology.
The goals of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition are to provide outstanding medical care to persons with diseases of the liver and gastrointestinal tract, to train gastroenterology and liver transplant fellows, and to perform cutting-edge biomedical research to improve our understanding of digestive and liver diseases. We have over 60 full time faculty in the division including research and clinical faculty.

The compensation and benefits are very competitive. There will be a faculty appointment at Vanderbilt School of Medicine as part of the job.
· Completion of a Medical Doctor Degree
· Completion of a gastroenterology fellowship
· Eligible for a Medical License in the State of Tennessee Board Certification/eligible in gastroenterology
