Work in a dynamic port environment supporting critical marine and vessel operations.
Develop leadership capabilities through direct supervision, coaching, and operational decision-making.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using operational data and performance metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive terminal performance and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate safe and efficient vessel and marine operations to achieve productivity and service objectives.
Supervise, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and operational personnel while supporting performance management and employee growth.
Coordinate labor, equipment, and operational resources to maximize vessel productivity and terminal efficiency.
Monitor operational performance in real time, resolving issues and minimizing delays to support timely vessel turnaround.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, environmental requirements, and applicable maritime regulations.
Collaborate closely with vessel planning, yard operations, maintenance teams, shipping lines, and port partners to maintain seamless operations.
Analyze operational KPIs and performance trends to identify opportunities for productivity improvements and operational excellence.
What We Are Looking For
Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset—curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
Bring 3–5 years of progressive experience in terminal, marine, logistics, transportation, port operations, or a related operational environment.
Demonstrate knowledge of container terminal operations, marine vessel activities, and cargo handling processes.
Possess an understanding of terminal equipment utilization and vessel productivity drivers.
Apply strong leadership, coaching, and employee development capabilities in a fast-paced operational setting.
Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Salary: $80K - $90K
Hours: This role supports a continuous terminal operation and requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
