Join us in changing lives at our Bradenton Bridge location as an Assistant Operations Facility Director, as this position plays a key role in our clients' continued success. In this role, we are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring, helping and challenging others. The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Assists the Director in overseeing assigned work projects.
2. Receives training from the Facility Director in the following: Budgets; Children & Families Services licensure and monitors; and Department of Corrections regulations and monitors.
3. Assists in the monitoring of all contracts.
4. Attends all Department Head meetings.
5. Weekly progress meeting with Facility Director
6. Assists in the evaluation of Department Heads
7. Conducts monthly Department Head meetings when required
8. Ensures that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of this job description are followed and adhered to.
9. Assists in overseeing facility maintenance and inspections (internal and external)
10. In the absence of the Facility Director takes on all administrative responsibilities.
11. Assists in overseeing administrative team
12. Assists in overseeing Food service
13. Supervises Operations staff if no Operation Supervisor is available.
14. Inspect the facility grounds weekly and complete appropriate documentations.
15. Submit staff Food Reviews to corporate office.
16. Clock in and out utilizing the company time and attendance system.
17. Must be able to perform the major functions of job with or without an accommodation.
18. Required to attend all mandatory training specified by policy.
19. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
20. Report all Workers Compensation injuries, whether or not they require medical attention or not, to you immediate supervisor, the Business Administrator or the Facility Director.
21. Report all breaches of company policy or code of ethics that you have knowledge of, hear about or see regardless of who is involved in the breach to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director. Or the HR Department if necessary.
22. Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of to your immediate supervisor or the Facility Director immediately.
23. To be eligible for promotion you must demonstrate organizational abilities and must have good written and oral communication skills.
24. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facility Director.QualificationsThe following qualifications apply:
· A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in the management of services to residents or offenders or inmates in the care, custody, or supervision of a federal, state or local criminal justice system.
· Five (5) years of supervisory experience in the delivery of services to residents, offenders, or inmates in the care of custody of a federal, state or local criminal justice system may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
· Must have a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory responsibilities.
Note: Education and Experience may be substituted for each other on a year-to-year basis as deemed necessary
