** This position is Varied Shift M-F

Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and other designees including patient transport, preparing of surgical instrument packs, cleaning and decontamination procedures, and courier functions.

Education/Training: High School graduate or equivalent. Secondary training or current enrollee in nursing school, medical trade school or certification program preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Experience: One (1) Year Previous patient care experience is required, preferably in a hospital environment. . • Working knowledge of terminal cleaning between OR cases; surgical environment cleaning experience according to OSHA and AORN standards preferred. • Demonstrated ability to understand medical/surgical terminology. • Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions.

C. Licensure, Registration or Certification: CNA preferred; BLS preferred
