Job Description

The Job

  • Provide all-around administrative support in estate, not limited to rental, sales, carpark and non-domestic premises (including issue receipts, job tickets).
  • Assist supervisors in supervising the clerical and manual staff for counter services, enquiries from residents/outsiders.
  • Explain relevant policies and procedures independently upon enquiries. For emergency and complicated cases, diligently refer cases to officers / supervisors with detail information.
  • Draft simple correspondence; compile reports and email etc. as assigned by the supervisors.
  • Work with officers to make sure the payment (e.g. invoice and deposit refund) is accurate and on time.
  • Generate reports (e.g. careline service, BS & BA Duty Roster etc.) from system for checking/ matching records according to pre-determined schedule or supervisors’ instruction.
  • Perform other clerical duties, such as housekeeping of records, filing, cash box book-keeper etc.
  • Housekeep and update inventories at Estate Office.
  • Order/ Procure staff uniform, safety shoes, safety hamlets, office equipment, stationery etc. as directed by supervisors.

The Person

  • 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (Syl. B) and Chinese Language OR 5 subjects obtained Level 2 or above in HKDSEE, including English and Chinese. 
  • At least 5 years’ clerical or customer services experience with at least 3 years in customer services industries.
  • Some knowledge on the operation and commonly used terms of estate management related industry.
  • PC skills e.g. PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word, Chinese Word Processing and etc.
  • Good typing skills
  • Good communication, co-ordination and interpersonal skills
  • Mature, service oriented, good telephone manner and a team player

Established in 1948, the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) is an independent and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing quality housing for the people of Hong Kong.
