Join the Antepartum/Postpartum team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where nurses provide exceptional, patient- and family-centered care across the perinatal continuum. In this leadership role, you will help coordinate and support nursing care delivery across disciplines, serving as a key liaison between clinical teams to ensure safe, seamless, and high-quality patient care.
Working under the direction of the Nursing Director, you will support daily clinical operations, patient flow, and care coordination while contributing to a collaborative environment focused on quality, teamwork, and professional growth.
About the Unit
The Antepartum/Postpartum Unit at BIDMC provides comprehensive inpatient care for antepartum and postpartum patients and their newborns within a supportive academic medical center environment. The department includes 62 private patient rooms across three units on two floors, designed to promote safe, compassionate, family-centered care.
Nurses work as one integrated team across antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care areas, fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care throughout the patient experience.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
License Registered Nurse required., and Certificate 1 Basic Life Support required.
3-5 years related work experience required and 0-1 years supervisory/management experience required
Demonstrated Leadership
Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Ability to manage complex situations, prioritize effectively, and support departmental and operational goals.

Light physical work, including frequent movement throughout the hospital campus and the ability to move objects up to 20 pounds.
Pay Range:
$150,000.00 USD - $220,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
